I thought Obama was trying to distance himself from it. A while ago the administration and media were referring it to only as the ACA.
No, they recently decided on a more aggressive approach: call it “Obamacare,” because apparently Obama is still popular among a lot of young voters; present it as something hip and cool that only the GOP grinches object to because, according to a speech by Obama this weekend, “Republicans don’t want people to have health care;” and get the private media to really push it and make it a sort of subliminal background to everything, but with a positive spin.
In other words, the WH is “doubling down” on it.
The rest of the Dems are delaying some of its more disastrous effects until after the elections so that they don’t have any more problems than they already have, but with the Obama media campaign, I bet you’ll find by the time November rolls around that most of the country will think Obamacare is wonderful. When you have a nation of people who get all of their information and beliefs from cheesy TV programs and hip-hop songs, propaganda is pretty easy.
