I’ve heard that gay activists blame Reagan for the AIDS epidemic. They claim he was slow to take action as AIDS went through the homosexual community in the early to mid 80s. And Reagan was president then. So,based on the criteria of liberals, anything bad happening during a Republican administration is the fault of that president.
The activists claim that Reagan was slow to authorize funding for R & D for AIDS drugs, and that he perpetuated the stigma against homosexuality, etc.
Bush’s fault?
