The real travesty? The policeman apparently got off by simply resigning. He deserves to be tried and punished for battery. That cop is the real risk to peaceful citizens, and he’s apparently walking the streets a free man.
Battery hell, he deprived a citizen of his civil rights under the color of law. That is felonious behavior,worthy of serious jail time.
