The FDA has waaay too much control, when the libs were bitching about how expensive birth control pills were during the Sandra Fluke debacle, they never even considered what would happen tot he price if the FDA allowed Birth control pills to become over the counter when their side effects are LESS that other over the counter drugs like Acetaminophen.

Of course the big gov libs would never consider common sense as a solution to something like so called “expensive drugs” it is not like the chemicals that make birth control pills are super complex and hard to make.

I think the drugs the FDA has a strangle hold over that they are NOT allowing to become OTC (even if the side effects are less that some major OTC pain relievers ) is because they get kickbacks from cronies and politicians who are in both groups. If certain drugs were made OTC the wind would be taken out of the sails of the “Manufactured Crisis” that Politicians love to use to further cement their power.
