I think people like her who are so focused on race and hating whites are doing so because they really don't have a struggle. Her father was the generation of civil rights changes, but she has been privledged her entire life. She has a good education, a great job and obviously is a strong independent feminist so what does she have to complain about or fight for? Nothing - so her generation is race baiting to manufacture a cause.
I would bet if you asked Miss Lemieux to name one prominent conservative thinker or elucidate conservative principles, she could not do it.
