I strongly take exception to your blanket indictment, MEN don't ask their women to get abortions let alone dump them.
You appear to have misinterpreted the meaning grammatically. The post did not imply that most men ask women to get abortions; it referred to the particular sub-set of men who do ask or coerce women to get abortions. The post went on to claim that most of that particular sub-set of men then dump the woman.
That is how I read it.
