Baby sitting is exactly what it was. Incredible, they'll hire people with the emotional maturity of toddlers, but not people who are mature, and then they wonder why they are having problems.
This reminds me of an Old Testament curse:
“As for My people, children are their oppressors,
And women rule over them.
O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err,
And destroy the way of your paths.”
