People tend to forget that Kelo was a conservative decision, too.
Didn’t think about that. Personally, I fall into the libertarian category. I forgot that a lot of conservatives are the “law and order” and “cops can do no wrong” crowd.
Hopefully enough Texans will hear about this and rise up to stop this.
The word needs to get out, before Texas wakes up and realizes, too late, that she gave away all her liberty.
There’s some of those here, but their number is decreasing.
More Freepers are having unfortunate encounters with aggressive cops and a power-hungry “Just-us” system.
I hope the rest will wake up before more innocents are attacked, assaulted or worse.
I happened upon this today. Don’t get angry after reading the first few sentences. Continue on through the article to the part about the militarization of the local cops. And those local cops are already coming for us.
