Dallas.. (AP PHOTO/BAYLOR HEALTH, WIECK) Premature quintuplets born this week in North Texas are doing “remarkably well,” their doctor said Thursday.

Dr. Vijay Nama, director of neonatology at the Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas, said during a news conference that the four girls and one boy were breathing on their own after birth, and although four were later put on machines to help their breathing, all are expected to be off the machines soon. He expects the babies to remain in the hospital for six to seven weeks.

Well, of course they’re premature! That goes without saying.

Congrats to the parents. Boy, are they in for a ride!

Are there 2 married parents here, 2 parents of opposite sexes?

Sounds absurd I know, but nowadays, you have to ask. You can’t just assume that a mother has a married husband with her. Heck you can’t even assume that a mother has a man in her life.

According to the article, she is married. She and her husband have an older child, a two-year-old son. They live in the small town of Maud, in the extreme NE corner of Texas, near Texarkana.

so, we can’t assume the parents are married, we can’t assume that the parents are each male and female, and we can’t assume they are American citizens.

See how liberal views obliterate the very concept of social norms? It’s as if any social norms are disallowed by liberal thought.
