Quinn and Rose are off the air, (temporarily, I hope!) Gone, but DEFINITELY not forgotten! Meanwhile, our friendly group of dedicated FReeper Q&R fans will meet in our usual spot - same time, same station - as we always have! So grab your coffee - or whatever you choose to start your day - and drop in for some political chit-chat, or just to shoot the breeze! We are all coming from - or going to - work, but we all stop in to say hi! Feel free to join us!
Happy St. Patty’s Day to yunz! Top o’ the Mornin’!
O’sneakers wishing you a safe and Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Hey, I’m mostly descended from Polish, but don’t we all have a TINY bit of Irish in us today? Actually, I DO have a tiny bit of Irish in me. Does that make me legit? :-)
Good morning and Happy St Patty’s Day!
Got to get the corned beef in the crock pot! YUM! I’ll cook the cabbage when I get home
Not sure what we are going to do. After the fish fry that wasn’t the weekend kinda just bumped along. Yesterday was St Urho’s day and we usually have some Finnish food but we didn’t even do that.
Mrs p6 and I are very tired for some reason. Maybe it’s the weather.
The only green I had on today was my teeth and underwear...
Yep, I agree about the tired. I do think it’s the weather - at least in my case. Doesn’t help that I’m very overweight and my job does not include as much box-lifting and ladder-climbing as it used to. I spend a lot of time at a computer or reader-printer these days.
I started taking supplements last year. I believe they’ve helped. Haven’t seen a dr in years. Don’t want any of those drugs.
Happy St. Paddy’ Day n’@!
Any news on BabySneakers??? How is Daughter in law?
I’m ALL Irish...but we had a tumultuous weekend here (so no traditional bottle of Baileys—I love it in hot chocolate—purchased by PaDad for me.)
Took 19 y/o back to school yesterday, and had a bombshell drop on Saturday. Son in law got layed off. They were to close on a house NEXT week (had to sign letters of cancellation—will get all but a “%” of down payment back in three months). He has 26 wks unemployment...but due to their planned move they have their rental until 4/1....so they are moving (driving!) across country (again) to live w/his parents til he finds a job. Which means GRANDBABY BACK IN THE BURGH!!!! Sometime the first week of April!!! Yeah!!!
Woohoo! I feel bad for your SIL and daughter but I’m ecstatic that granddaughter will be back!!!
My son is going to apply for jobs with the gas and oil companies. He worked in the engineering dept on his ship in the navy. That’s surely got to count for something! I hope your SIL finds a job FAST back here!
Happy St Patty’s Day..we are always tired..I swear by my liquid multi vitamins..so does my mom and other family members. I can trace my dads family back to Ireland..my forecaster is hinting about a storm next week with brutal cold..etc..please no sigh...
Happy St. Patty’s day to you too! My great grandpa came over and worked as a mason. So I guess I’m at least a percentage of green.
