I believe the pilot, copilot are muslims as are 2/3rds of their country’s population.

My first thoughts are Western China, where they’re dealing with a SERIOUS Muslim problem (i.e., 30 people knifed to death a week earlier).
China either shot down the plan or let it land - either way they are too embarrassed to talk about it...but the truth will leak out.

Utterly fascinating case.

I don’t know “why” he would, but I’ve been assuming the whole flight crew was involved.

No publisher would market a book with such strange twists.

On Twitter and YouTube he has backed human rights groups and campaigners for internet freedom in Malaysia, which has strict Government controls. Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim called activists on to the streets and Capt Zaharie has "liked" videos by Ibrahim posted on YouTube.
This is all the article has about Zaharie's "fervent" support.
Although the family moving out the day before is a bit odd.

MH370 flew to 45,000ft - almost 2,000ft above what Boeing says is its maximum recommended height - before descending to 23,000ft.Depressurizing the passenger compartment while the crew members used their oxygen supply would annihilate the passengers.
