Ray, perhaps you would know about this - I just “upgraded” to Windows 8.1, and read of the need to reinstall the Office version I have to get it to work. After reinstalling my Office 2007 version, ... nothing is available, as though this version of Office won’t run with Win8.1. Do you know of a way to get Office 2007 to run in Windows 8.1?

Unless you run specifically in desktop mode, I'm not sure if you can run Office 2007 under Windows 8.1. You may have to end up upgrading to Office 2013--which has been tested to run under Windows 8.x--to make the whole thing work. :-(
