Back in the 80s I needed my plastic rimmed glasses adjusted but didn’t want to go to the eye doctor place. I knew the way they do it is stick them in hot sand to warm them up and make them plyable. So, I put them in the microwave for just a few seconds. I ended up having to go the the eye doctor anyway...to get new glasses. I drank a lot back then.
