I actually saw a Taco Bell in Mexico City back in 1999. They charged 8x more than the far superior food cart tacos outside.

I was in Jersusalem a couple of years ago, have family working there.
After a long day trudging through the Old City, they announced dinner was going to be pizza delivery. Yea, right.
I told them that I’d pass on the pizza and go find some street food.

awwww, Street vendors - tacos! So good.
Best fish taco I ever had was in Ensanada from a street side vendor, a mom and pop place. It was interesting, they put the taco on a piece of paper and when you were done you took the paper to this kid (probably their child) she counted the papers and told you how much you owed.
