whats the difference between an autopsy and a necroscopy?

i thought necroscopy was when you cut up some really old body like a mummy.
or a dead cow from 9,000 years ago.

Autopsy: dissection of human remains to determine cause of death (or other purposes).

Necropsy: dissection of non-human remains to determine cause of death (or other purposes).
