LOL / Ouch.
Should have said he was married to the dog. The meal would have been on the house.
You’re not blind, you don’t need a dog.

I guess he would have gotten shot if he had responded.
“Well, you are a complete idiot, yet you have a badge and a gun.”
I have so many stories about the Houston police, they used to be violent beyond what most modern Americans would believe, of course a lot of police departments used to be.
The way the law’s progressing, maybe if he produced a marriage certificate ...
How nice of the government employee to tell the private citizen what he “needs”.
In my veteran-centered medical practice I recently assisted two vets who served in the sandbox and have PTSD and multiple musculo-skeletal injuries from combat to get service dogs.
I was blessed to meet Murphy and Justice this week when their owners came to see me. I have never seen these guys so happy and content. The dogs are wonderful and what they do for the vets is even better.
I’m getting really agitated reading these stories about stupid cops and their out-of-control behavior. When I was in college in the 1960’s and -70’s I did not believe in violent revolution. Now I do.
Was the dog certified and wearing correct identifier?
“15 or 20 years ago.”
How many peolpe knew the Earth traveled around the Sun?
sarc/na, we wish
Another NAZI Cop. A paramilitary piece of crap spawned by the academies.
1) Civilian Review Boards
2) Residency reequirements
3) Replace Police Chiefs with civilian directors of public safety who answer to elected officials not the FOP or PBA
4) End binding arbitration
5) End 20 and out
6) Volunteer civilian monitors in each and every class in the police academies
7) Take away the military toys like armored personnel carrier from these clowns and give them back to the National Guard where they belong.
8) De-Institutionalize the FOP and PBA. Cops are civil servants. They shouldn’t have a union.
These are the only solutions to the growing spread of NAZI cops.
Hey, isn’t this the same guy who got tossed out of a Starbucks because of his dog last month? Does this happen to him all the time?
No. Looks like three different incidents, with three different vets and their dogs.
From the article.:
Sadly, this isnt the first time a veteran has been refused service by a Texas restaurant over having a service dog. Only last week , Marine Corps veteran Don Brown was turned away by the River Side Inn Marina in Channelview, Texas over his service dog, Truman. Earlier in February, an Army veteran was, confronted and embarrassed at a Houston Starbucks.
One might suspect the cops know the vets have done more in service of their nation than any stateside officer in a magical government costume has done.
Certainly have been quite a few stories of cops targeting vets, lately. War against vets?
Wouldn't surprise me any.
Remember, by the new rules that Obama illegally implemented, they could get the rights of these veterans taken away by simply saying they were "troubled".
I used to respect police, my family has a police/military background. It used to be one bad egg in a group, now it seems that there is on good egg in the group. I don't know how good cops keep going on these days. Especially the cops in Houston, I have seen them turn right at an intersection to avoid the accident that happened just in front of them.
There was a FReeper yesterday, and I ashamed that I don't recall his name, was making the point that our military is turning into cops, and our cops are turning into military, especially against our own citizens.
I would think long and hard now days as to whether I would put my trust in a cop.
In this case, there are these professional victims who use dogs.
Have to have a dog with them at all times or they will go crazy. Need special treatment you or I can’t get.
