I got my haircut the Monday following the game. There were four females and two males in the place. All the females were talking about the game, more so the ads, and the two males (including me) said we didn't care about the game. One of the females said “I wish they didn't hit so hard.” I managed a chuckle. I preferred football when it was played and how it was played in the late 60s and through the 1970s. But the Super Bowl is an unofficial national holiday and people are mesmerized by it.
