Shooter was having problems getting the brass to eject so was using the cleaning rod to push them out.

My favorite was an Airman I knew who shoved a potato onto the muzzle of a rather nice stainless Remington 700 with a .300 Win Mag chambering, at which point he promptly called it a “redneck-silencer” and pulled the trigger. The barrel only split/peeled back in three directions, the receiver didn’t explode. The look on his face was priceless, as was the ass-chewing that was given to him, and the two NCOs present when he was making that video, and later posting it on Youtube. It has since been taken down.
