Was Newt sitting on the couch with Pelosi when he called for Kerry to resign?Gee, the guy said it was one of the dumbest things he has ever done...lets' cut him a little slack...
Newt is past his expiration date, but he still is a great spokesman for many conservative ideas...
It's not like he is one of the administration clowns who make colossal mistakes by the hour...

"Gee, the guy said it was one of the dumbest things he has ever done...lets' cut him a little slack..." I'll give credit where it's due. He was absolutely spot on when he said it was one of the dumbest things he has ever done.

I agree with your assessment.
Newt is better than a busload of the current GOP Establishment Pukes and Maggots.

I like Gingrich better as a political pundit than I ever did as a politician or a Beltway lobbyist hack.

Yes, the Couch WAS the dumbest thing he ever did, and he will never live it down. Ever. The rest of his "credentials" are moot after such a stupid stunt. He STILL won't disavow the myth of "warming" and "carbon loading" blah blah blah. And as he says in this clip, it's fine if a U.S. Senator believes the climate lie.
He deserves all the derision he gets.
