As seem all too usual, the authorities are trying awfully hard to conclude it is not the knockout game. You need a written confession and video statements to conclude that it is black on white predation and even then, officials will try to explain it away.

Even video isn't enough now. In Chicago, a deputy was recently the victim of attempted armed robbery at a service station by three "youths". He handed over his wallet, and then pretended to fumble for other money or something while getting his gun, which was in back of him. The thigs kept their guns on him after he forked over the wallet-ie, they were going to shoot him anyway. He got his gun out and shot one of them first, the other two scattered, This was all on video.

The one he shot was killed. The other two finally turned themselves in. The lawyer for one of them is saying now that "you can't trust what the video says" or some such, even though the two remaining turned themselves in because of the video!
