Dallas is crazy. Imagine in your mind how a psychopath would drive, and that gives you an idea of the average Dallas commuter. Pickup trucks for some reason seem to be the main culprit.
At least up North the fast drivers seem to have some sort of concern for their lives and the lives of other drivers.
When we first moved here from California eight years ago, there wasn't nearly as much wild driving in DFW. As a matter of fact, I thought that DFW drivers were pretty well behaved.
Something's changed in the last few years, because now it's a madhouse out there. Yeah, testosterone-challenged idiots in pick-up trucks are a problem, but mostly it's the little Beemers and Toyota driving youngsters who are out of control.
