I too had Camp Fire girls, and refuse to allow them to sell those cookies, no way was I going to let them go door to door (not a safe practice,IMO), for only 5 cents a box.

SO, we quit that group and started Blue Birds, had the girls all bring 5 Cents a week to put in the kitty and at the end we had a great time/party with the funds, and the girls were safe and sound.

I always tell the Girl Scouts that I prefer the CampFire mints. Then if an adult is present (usually) I will continue about not respecting life.
