I’ve never watched a sitcom for more than five minutes in my life, because that creepy laugh track that they put in them is very annoying. It kicks in every ten seconds or so, whether or not anybody says something funny. And it doesn’t even sound like real human laughter. Very unpleasant. I’d rather go watch some toons. Like Teen Titans Go. Or Tuff Puppy. Or my current favorite, Wander Over Yonder.
not all sitcoms have the laugh track. The Crazy Ones, New Girl and Community do not.

The Office (UK version) and Parks and Recreation don’t have them. Very ‘dry’ kind of humor - I think a lot of adlibbing. I enjoy them but YMMV. You’ll know in 5 minutes.
Personally I found the US version of The Office, unlike the original UK one, absolutely boring.
