The doc removed one polyp which turned out to be benign.

I enjoy finding out good stuff like that.

I guess my doc will eventually get me to do it.
I’ve been planning to tell him I want the more modern, much less intrusive “imaging” procedure instead. Now we get this even-newer “pill” approach and it sounds good, too.

If only I can swallow the damned pill. I chew them all now... maybe if the doc wraps the pill in a slice of pizza?

Same here. I think a drawback to the new pill technique would be that they would not be able to remove any found polyps. They'd have to make you go through the cleanse process all over again and then do the scope. The only part that bothered me when I had it done was the the cleanse. You not only had to stay glued to the toilet; but the stuff you have to drink is like drinking spit. I was asleep for the scope part and don't remember it at all.

This pill thing sounds like an Obamacare cheapout.

Yeah, when they use a pill and they find something that needs to be removed they are still gonna have to go in and remove it.

I'd rather have the doctor snip it when he sees it, rather than have me make another appointment.

You will still have to be clean as a whistle when they put the camera-pill through ya. I only want to drink that stuff once.
