That being said, I realize Mennonites are a lot like Baptists . . . no centralized authority and one group may be a total outlier from the sect at large. Hopefully, that is the case here.
Old order Mennonites won’t do this. I don’t think the old order has accepted birth control within marriage or divorce and remarriage, much like the strict Amish. We have a lot of Mennonites around here, when they go left they go waaaay left. I’m not sure if the horse and buggy type even vote.

This is a regional conference of the largest Mennonite group doing this. In the past, this would have meant they were be cut off. Not anymore. See this.
