If you include this years tilt between Denver and Seattle, 96 teams have ascended to the Super Bowl since it debuted in 1966. The first Super Bowl was in 1967.

A much more accurate rating would be which teams or conferences have the most players in the NFL.
I know the MVP of the first three Superbowls were all QBs from Alabama.

The FCS school players would most likely have played in the SEC if they qualified academically. Seeing how bad the SEC schools are in academics, that is really a sad state of affairs.
