The only thing I care about is getting one of these devices.

No longer do I want to heat my house with propane or wood. Burning something to create heat may look comforting, but cleaning out the ash is a b!tch.

One day, I’m certain, one can stroll into BEDS BATHS AND LINENS and pick up a Rossi generator.

OK - so I can dream!

More likely Home Depot. And it will probably have been built in either Korea or China or both. Note that Industrial Heat just recently held talks with some fairly high-level Chinese government officials.

Ditto. The idea of being able to run a house, a camper, remote cabin, etc. to the point there is comfort without power lines, where weather issues no longer imperil people in harsh climates, and ultimately (for those young enough to go), the stars--or at least the solar system--await...just sweetens the idea of not having to chip the wood out of the ice that blew into the woodpile...
