If the cost of a unit can be brought down to where an average home owner can take advantage of the system, the entire power production and distribution model could be thrown out the window. Instead of buying a furnace, ac, hot water heater, and buying electricity from the grid, the home owner can produce their own ... everything.

Further, if you can get the system to about 250 hp / 180 kw power range, then even transportation becomes available for a re-think.

I had been kind of just monitoring the eCat off and on. Now it seems really exciting. I hope it takes off soon.
