Maybe he recognizes what most anti-Paterno folks don't — that the Freeh report was bogus. There was a concerted effort to put blame on the Coach in order to “put him out to pasture.” Freeh was hired to write a report that would accomplish that.

In any event, what I said before stands. Don't like FlJoePa’s posts, don't read them.

...if it makes you feel better, keep believing nonsense like that...considering that Paterno was canned well prior to the Freeh report issuance, cause and effect most likely cannot be established as you’ve attempted to do, but by all means, do think whatever you wish...

...personally, I think Joe sealed his own fate, by trying to publicly dictate the terms upon which he’d leave the program...retiring after the season...when the BOT was in no mood to listen to him calling any more shots...had he kept a lower profile, perhaps he might have survived, maybe with a temporary leave of absence for the home game against Nebraska the Saturday after everything broke...contingent of course upon his resignation as of December 31, 2011...
