-Satire

It was the Year 2014—fifth anniversary of Al Gore’s confident prediction that “in five years the polar ice will melt.” [sic] And a band of true believers— Australian scientists and global warming experts led by experienced skipper Harold “Chips” Ahoy—set out to confirm and document the prediction of their hero and International Guru of Climate Change (formerly known as Global Warming) Al Gore.

Satire with just a hint of truth. These asshats don't find us funny at all if we deny the "truth". Such tolerant individuals eh?

What is not funny is the jaw dropping magnitude of stupidity in America. A good number of Americans are unable to think for themselves. Whatever the media tells them, they believe. In spite of record cold, and over a decade of no climate change, a lot of Americans believe in global warming. The media ignores incorrect predictions, and errors in computer models, and most Americans are unable to do the most basic research on their own.

A good number of Americans think the economy is doing well too.

We are screwed. We are riding this plane all the way to the crash site.

The most ludicrous climate change explanation that the recent freezing of North America is really caused by global warming is that it is warmer in the southern hemisphere due to global warming...hence it is colder in the northern hemisphere. News paper stories have trumpeted record high temperatures in Australia and that zoo animals in Argentina being fed Popsicles to keep them cool as proof of this climate change sophistry. However the stories leave out a few things. First it is summer in the southern hemisphere so warmer temperatures are normal in places like Argentina. The Australian heat record was reported in in a place in the outback desert. It would be no more surprising than a blistering summer temperature in Death Valley in the US. This southern hemisphere is hotter malarkey is also disproved by this ship of fools being caught in Antarctic ice that Al Gore told us shouldn't be there.

Well duh. See, the warm air rises causing the freezing air at the north pole to move south, which it did. Looks like it’s gonna happen again today and tonight in the “great” northeast. LOL! Bet they’d like some of algore’s hot air by tomorrow morning. Why, he could de-ice a 777 with one breath.

And in 1945, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were to have no plant growth for 95 years!

The next spring, the plants came up.

Yeah. What happened to “uninhabitable” for a trillon years? Seen any pics lately from inside the Cherynoble (sp?) containment area? Maybe some one eyed wolves or porkers. Zombies perhaps?

The natural disposition is always to believe. It is acquired wisdom and experience only that teach incredulity, and they very seldom teach it enough. The wisest and most cautious of us all frequently gives credit to stories which he himself is afterwards both ashamed and astonished that he could possibly think of believing. -  Adam Smith, Theory of Moral Sentiments
