I have no doubt that biological organisms “adapt” to a changing, often hostile, environment but there’s no way I’m buying this a result of random mutation. All the useful genetic information which ever has or ever will exist has been there from the beginning.

All the useful genetic information which ever has or ever will exist has been there from the beginning.

There are sections of the human genome that are actually viral DNA from viruses that invaded human cells some time in the past.
