Couldn’t have been all that serious - would think directly to hospital ..
Kind of like the guy gets robbed and calls his lawyer before police.. I mean if you are going to do that, DON’T tell the police you called them second.....
Saw a scene where the range master called ‘cease fire’ and a young shavetail turned away from the range with pistol still in hand....Gunny sort of ‘berated’ him telling him if he EVER had his weapon raised and NOT pointed down range, he was going to put it where the sun don’t shine and pull the trigger....
Young LT turned toward the Capt and the Capt basically said ‘What he said, dummy’!

does a bounce back off a steel target qualify as a ricochet?
I recall a youtube video of someone shooting a 50 calibar round far down range and it bounced all the way back to where he was sitting.
