“They predict that by 2016 there may be no remaining sunspots, and the sun may stay spotless for several decades.”

Hmmmn.

Funny this report.

See, the last 17 years, actual recorded (measured satellite AND surface AND sea surface AND sea subsurface (0 - 2000 ft deep temperatures) average temperatures from all sources show a .... (wait for it) ZERO actual increase!

There has been no global warming since 1996.

Now the PROJECTED temperature increases according to government-paid computer program run by government-paid “scientists”: living inside government-funded laboratories doing government-funded research for government agencies funding that research to justify more government-funding global warming CO2 taxes (1.3 trillion/year) have projected ever-faster temperature rises, but the actual temperature has not increased for 17 yer now.

My lake froze on November 30, the earliest ever recorded ice-in (records start in 1886). THAT’S how warm it is.

the article is long on reporting of predictions, but short on reporting that the predictions are based on models like that used by the ICCP and short on reporting that the predictions of those models with regard to TODAY have been far off base, and as predictions go if your site of what is near to you is so wrong, then given the same instrument how can your view down the road be better - mathematics is not like near sitedness and far sitedness - the math and what goes into it is either reasonably statistically good or it isn’t; and the models used by the carbon hunters have not been good

what the actual experience of their models says is that quite a number of their assumptions regarding various variables in operation in the earth climate do not meet the actual behavior of those variables in the climate or do not meet all the factors in the environment that mitigate their behavior - the reality is not the same and is more complex than is their present understanding of it

and, in the defense of even those that accept the predictions but believe that efforts to adapt to “climate change” and to mitigate it in some circumstances, is more productive, less wasteful, less costly and more beneficial, which is a position more in keeping with all human history on earth - we adapt, whether it be to ice ages, deserts, rain forests or anything else; humanity adapts and has superior skills, and increasingly superior skills TO adapt

guess what, LIFE on earth does too - some periods are more beneficial to some life species and less to others and climate change ALWAYS means that the winners and losers in the chances of life on earth do not simply disappear, all of them, they change, with the best adapters or best suited to a change flourishing and those least adaptible or least suited not flourishing - but LIFE - rit large - on earth goes on -

the naysayers are not trying to serve humanity, they are trying to control everyone in the name of that control, for its sake; it is a varient on the Marxist/Fascist/Progressive false utopia mindset - rule by the experts

You are thinking of “Kumar” from the “Harold and Kumar” movies - Kal Penn. He also played Dr. Kutner on “House” until he went to work for BHO at The White Hut.

In 2050 the world will either be too hot, too cold or most likely somewhere in between.

The comments on your link are hilarious. A classic: “Global warming is well understood science. We just don’t understand how the earth is hiding the heat”
