There is no question that liberals do an impressive job of expressing concern for blacks. But do the intentions expressed in their words match the actual consequences of their deeds?
San Francisco is a classic example of a city unexcelled in its liberalism. But the black population of San Francisco today is less than half of what it was back in 1970, even though the citys total population has grown.

LOL! Try convincing them of that. NO SALE! Thanks to the (not so) great society. How many gazillions have been flushed away now?
You know, that is the legacy we all have inherited from the "Civil Rights Movement" and Affirmative Action. We all end up putting unspoken qualifiers on any thought regarding Black folks.
It is only when we are dealing with individuals (who just happen to be Black) that race takes a back seat. We have all experienced the realization in the middle of a conversation or joint project, "Hey, this man is Black! I've been lost in his ideas and personality and just did not notice that he is Black!"
(maybe I'm not the white racist redneck the media tries to paint me to be.) :-)
