I dunno. As pointed out on some of the food groups on usenet, it's not Christmas until the Food Network runs Sandra Lee's (aka "Aunt Sandy", "SLop", etc.) Kwanza Cake abomin..., er, epi.
Last year, my husband and I were the only white people at my neighbors’ Christmas party. Roots was playing in the great room the entire time. The women were awful to me but I really relished the experience of being able to have that much power over someone’s emotions. The men were fine with us. I was the life of the party. When I walked into the great room and what was on TV I loudly exclaimed “Roots! Really?” I also announced to the crowd that I bet I was the only one in the house who didn’t vote for Barack Obama. Man, that was a fun party.
