The word “sin” is a direct denial of their religion wherein they get to define what is good and evil, right and wrong.
“Sin” implies an objective, unappealable standard. And, yes, it’s like throwing holy water on them.
It also means a judgement will be made AND only liberals have the moral and intellectual authority to say what a sin is.
