Whatever creative force exists to do this, my feeling is universes (multiverses) are born, expand, and then everything contracts and comes back to the point of singularity, whereupon the whole process is born again, ad infinitum.
The whole point, it would seem, of the creative force would be creation.
Different systems are born each time around, perhaps featuring different laws (like laws of physics) that govern it's existence.
We're a microscopic dot in a vast sea (universe) of creation, and since it operates on the micro as it does in the macro, it is an ever-continuing cycle of birth, life and death.
The life force is not possible without the creative force, just as the creative force is not possible without the life force.
Life everlasting is the rule of the universe. Just because something endures a physical death does not mean the life force itself is extinguished. On the contrary, the soul, outward manifestation of the life force, is itself immortal.
This is a deep subject that would require a tome unto itself.
Let's just say this creative force, however you want to describe it, is indeed the Alpha and the Omega, but only in the sense that mortal minds can grasp and accept it.
In reality, there is no beginning, nor is there an end.

But current evidence shows that, not only is the universe expanding, but it's doing so at a faster and faster rate. They thought previously that the expansion would continue at a slower and slower rate while never actually coming to a stop, ultimately reversing. So in either scenario the expansion would go on forever.
