IIRC An IEP (individual Education Plan)?

It seems like this should include and inform the parents also. PTA used to be meetings with teachers where parents and teachers worked together. Now it seems that the feral government has gone wild in a power grab and edge parents out of education.

IEP's are all done with the parents present. they can't be implemented with out the parents knowledge and written consent. The parents are present at the meeting with a Special Ed teacher, School Psychologist, social worker, administrator, at least one teacher, (Guidance) counselor, and anyone that the parent(s) choose to bring. I have been in meetings that parents brought lawyers, adoptive representatives, grandparents etc...

Federal law requires that parents know and agree to any and all accommodations.
