Claims in a lawsuit. Can’t get any more authoritative than that, can it?

“He fought these cops long and hard. Apparently early on in the fight he he landed a solid hard one in the face of one of the officers.”

-photos please. Or it didn't happen. Here's the only photo of injuries on police officers in the fatal beating of Kelly Thomas. A skinned elbow on Officer Ramos. Wow. You want to claim Thomas hit Ramos on the elbow?

Post one statement by even one witness, that Thomas was violent the night he was beaten to death.
Let’s see it.
ONE.

You have an agenda and I’m not sure why.

My agenda is objectvity, rationality, cool-headedness and facts.

Here are a couple articles describing his violent behaviors, among other things. One from the current trial from three victims of his violence, including his grandfather and another from 2012.

Yes, the cop’s actions were wrong. That does not change the fact that there are individuals on the streets that should be institutionalized. And perhaps that cop is one of them.

Ok. If you want to go into past behavior, I'd suggest you also read up on Ramo's history. But I asked you to produce ONE statement, by even ONE witness, that the victim, Kelly Thomas, had been violent that night.
Where is it?

Read the following statement; introduced as evidence in this trial:

“See these fists? They're getting ready to #uck you up.”
Who was it that said that? It wasn't Thomas. Sounds to me, like something a mentally ill psychopath would say. Someone who should be locked up, as he presents a danger to everyone. That's my agenda. Seeing dangerous psychopaths with badges removed from being threats to innocent people.

Okay, it sounds like we agree, and yes, there’s a lot of mentally ill people out there, that need to be dealt with. No arguments there.

I think yo are too obsessed with this.

You are not thinking straight. No one has defended the officer’s vulgar words on this thread.

Your hatred and obsession has overcome your rationality.

The OC Weekly is a leftist rag, and a clone of similar weekly papers found throughout the country that raise their revenues from ads for bars, restaurants, strip clubs, and sex ads. That being said, the police officers involved deserve serious jail time, from anything I have read about the case.

However, the Left wants to overthrow the established order, including police departments. In any Communist revolution, or for that matter, nationalist or Islamist revolution, the new regime disbands the police agencies of the overthrown government and sets up a new police authority with their own people. Prior to the revolution, the leftist press denigrates abuses, real or imagined, by the existing regime's police, for instance, those of the Tsarist Okhrana before the Bolshevik Revolution. In some cases, the Left will themselves instigate actions to cast aspersions on the old order. For example, Communists disguised as Polish nationalists instigated anti-Jewish pogroms in the aftermath of World War II to smear the anti-Communist opposition.

Beyond the issue of this police abuse in California, the long term goal of the Left worldwide is the destruction of the existing order in capitalist, democratic nations. The abusive policemen are useful idiots toward this end.

“I think yo are too obsessed with this.”
Think whatever you want, you're the one defending the indefensible, and when called on the carpet, you have resorted to ad hominem attacks, rather than just stick to facts.

“You are not thinking straight. No one has defended the officer’s vulgar words on this thread.Your hatred and obsession has overcome your rationality.”
-The statement by officer Ramos has been introduced as evidence in this trial, and it shows INTENT to do bodily harm by officer Ramos.

QUOTE:"You see these fists? They're getting ready to #uck you up. "

Now, I asked you to produce even ONE statement, by ONE witness, that the victim, Kelly Thomas, had been violent that night. I'll ask you for the third time, where is that statement?

Here's another statement of FACT, introduced as evidence into this trial:

“I smashed his face to hell.”

-Prosecutors say that recorded voice belongs to Officer Cicinelli, who struck Thomas over 20 times with6 the butt of his taser&. nbsp;

Care to respond with actual facts to this case or do you just want to fall back on feeble ad hominem insults again?

Again, you are arguing with a projection coming from yourself.

Not ad hominem, just observation.

I predict, based on the evidence presented at trial, that these two rogue cops will be found “guilty” of all charges. The judge has said the jury will deliberate the first week in January. I'm curious if you're going to attack them when they come back with their verdict. I'll check back with you then.

What are the charges?

And, by he way, there’s something wrong with you that you feel the need to harass people over obsession with something like this?

Re: “And, by he way, there’s something wrong with you that you feel the need to harass people over obsession with something like this?”

-Now I'm harassing you, by RESPONDING to your posts to ME? :-/
You're behavior is that of a liberal. They defend government corruption, (that's what this case is really about, a Fullerton police department cover up) -and then when called out on it, instead of responding with FACTS, they accuse the respondents to their claims, as “haters”.
( You've done that, haven't you? )

Re: "What are the charges? "

Manuel Ramos and Jay Cicinell are each charged with involuntary manslaughter. Ramos faces an additional count of second-degree murder. Cicinelli was also charged with use of excessive force. -You appear to be not very well informed on this case.
And I'll GLADLY stop *responding* to your feeble-minded posts to me, when you stop replying back with ridiculous comments and questions, like :
"What are the charges?” - SMH

Again you are just making things up regarding my positions or what I have said.

My comment was about the broader problem of violent mentally ill living on the streets.

I'll direct you back to your post #10, where you not only put the blame for the beating on the victim, but you also excused the cops and said they shouldn't be convicted of a crime. Below are the salient points which started our debate, which descended into you calling me "obsessed", and a hater.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3100735/replies?c=10

“He fought these cops long and hard. Apparently early on in the fight he he landed a solid hard one in the face of one of the officers. I always figured that caused his predicament. I figure the cop stepped it up a bit and had less concern over hurting him after that.Doesn’t mean I am saying he deserved to die.I do not think the cops ever intended him to die.... He was violent and committed crimes. He was breaking in to cars which is what cause this incident. The cops have to deal with him and that is not an easy task. 2) The general public should not need to be subjected to the presence of psychotic potentially violent men in public spaces. The cops had to deal with him. He is a danger and usually these dangerous men are given freedom because they aren't necessarily committing any crime at a given time. In this case he was committing crimes and fought the police when confronted he did not fight back, he instigated the fight.... Personally I think the cops should not be convicted of a crime, but should no longer be police.

-you want to retract your original defense of this beating now? I'll accept that apology, if you've finally seen the light.

-and by the way, I have no problem with arresting or detaining mentally ill people, and institutionalization, if need be. I DO have a problem with a 275 lb. cop telling some little 140 lb mentally ill guy who's passively sitting on the curb : “You see these fists? They're getting ready to #uck you up. “ It's unfortunate that officer Ramos chose to make good on his threat, instead of just treating Kelly Thomas like a human being and handcuffing him and taking him to a mental hospital.
