Apparently these folks didn't use the suggested guidelines on how to put together a "celebration" from the MAIGgots, Moms Demand Action, ofa, the brady bunch and gabby and mark kelley-giffords. Guess we're just a bunch of heartless bas**rds huh?

NO ONE believes it was the tragedy it was purorted to be.
Trayvon Martin is the saint and cause ... not Sandy Hook.

If they promise to show the ACTUAL (if any actually exists or EVER existed!!) security footage both outside and inside the school during the “shooting??” I’ll buy a 100 tickets!

It’s a sham. The proceeds are supposed to go to first responders and teachers who are dealing with mental health issues from the tragedy. What a crock! I should think they all have some kind of mental health coverage in their health care insurance.
Personally, I think the money would have gone to the unions.

Maybe they should have raffled off an AR with ticket sales ?

The Hope & Healing concert, thrown together hastily by Christian artists, hosted by Max Lucado and held at the Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport just days after the shooting, was sold out. The names of the victims ringed the arena on hi-def screens. Artists included Casting Crowns, Steven Curtis Chapman, Chris Tomlin, tobyMac, Laura Story, Mandisa and others.
The secret to their success was that this was not to raise money for "awareness". Everyone was quite aware. There was nothing political about this event.
Instead, it was an opportunity for people to gather in a large number to cry out to the Lord, to seek His comfort and draw closer to Him in a time of horrible tragedy.

This whole thing boils down to the actions of an incredibly irresponsible parent bringing firearms into a house with a heavily disturbed son and allowing him unfettered access to them. She paid for her stupidity with her life. It’s horrible that innocent others had to pay for it also.
That the left has used it to further an agenda is simply standard operating procedure.

...organizer Chicago Musicians Care, which was created in response to the shooting.

Well, I guess the Chicago Musicians didn’t care enough, or they would have put on the concert anyway — just ‘cause they care so much.
