Last week I was in my garage and looked up and a Pit Bull was moving rather quickly in my direction. My split second decision was to be nice. She ended up being one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever seen. I called the number on her collar and the owner came and got her. She had gotten out of the back yard.

With all that said, Pit Bulls scare the crap out of me. Mauling and killing is in their genes.

It is indeed in their genes.

There are no bad dogs, just bad owners!

I have owned many dogs, the most dangerous was a 180lb dane.
He was a sweetheart until told not to be.

I currently own a half german shepard, half pit male.
Smart! Unclipped.

A full pit bitch. Clipped.

He has high cover, she is a sneakey low cover.

Two barn cats, An unclipped rat terrior and a taco bel bitch.

If I could spell chiwawa I would have.

This crew is a family, the big male will be on you if you walk 20 steps beyond your car, the pit is very quietly
covering his back, the chiwawa is in your face, (figurtively and vociferously) and the rat terrior never met a stranger.

The barn cats never need fear a coyote and keep the snakes
down by keeping the rats down.

The horses provide a line of defense for the coyotes and all
the critters cooperate. Each to their own need and each to
their own capabilities. The dogs are the first line of notice.

I’m the fallback.

There are no bad animals, there are many bad owners!
