REM: We have lived in greater ATL since 1985.

I am happy with the move of the baseball stadium out of downtown Atlanta and out of the clutches of the gimmee gimmee City of Atlanta gummint. off site parking wasnt really safe. no mass transit to/fr except by cumbersome bus transfers. the fan base lives along the northern arc. I say “fine” do it. and the Braves wont have to pay a $24 million ransom to a local church for a parcel of land like the Falcons just did.

when the Dome was built a lot of folks notes the purposeful loss of the the gaiting experience compared to before.

inside the Dome has a lot of hard edges and raw concrete that always made me feel like it was done on the cheap.

here, change is good IMHO.

Eric Holder and the DOJ are making noises about stopping the Braves -- at the behest of Blacklanta's chocolate dictatorship.
