Isn’t it strange that everyone who doubts Oswald shot Kennedy just has a feeling or a hunch. There is no evidence of a conspiracy that I have yet seen. I have seen the evidence the government put forward. Looking at the evidence, Oswald shot Kennedy!
According to the ballistics expert who wrote Mortal Error the entry wound for the kill shot was a much smaller hole than could have been made by Oswalds gun. Plus, that bullet fragmented into tiny pieces. Iow, it exploded.
I will be buying the book. Incredibly fascinating that someone started using modern forensics to address the inconsistencies in the original assumptions about this crime. Seems like not many in the govt. want anymore investigation into it.
I have thought that they may have found two empty shells in the room and said they found three to explain the three shots. The reported sequence of shots was one (pause) and then two very close together. Several people have mentioned this as an indication there was more than one shooter. The smell of gunpowder at street level and the shattering of the kill shot both point to the agent as the second shooter. Also the splatter of bone and tissue upward indicate that the kill shot came from street level.

Not just that unfortunately really does point to the secret service agent accident theory. The angle is all wrong for the shot to have come from the 6th floor of that building. And I say unfortunately because I can’t believe the absolute horror felt by George Hickey specifically and the secret service collectively must have felt if this is what really happened. Makes perfect sense too as to why this story was quashed and covered up by our govt. That kind of accident is not only so totally unacceptable it’s scandalous beyond measure. Just heartbreaking more than anything.

first off Gary Mack, he’s the curator of the Six Floor Museum, had the publisher, the author and the “ballistics expert” down to Dallas and showed them the HQ version of the Bronson film of the assasination and about 5 minutes after viewing it the publishers settled the liable suit with Hickey, because it shows Hickey did not fire the gun ...and they’ve just waited until Hickey died to dredge this thing up ..regardless of what that crackpot Menniger claims ....
and if the film evidence doesn’t do it for you ....
anyone that believes that idiotic theory that George Hickey blew off the president’s head accidentally while riding in the secret service follow up car needs to admit two or three things
1. admit they believe a car full of secret service agents saw a fellow agent, who had been a driver for the detail for only four months, fire a shot and blow the head off of the man they were protecting, and instead of thinking ..”hey this new guy just shot the president he might be an assassin lets grab him and his gun!!” they instead just rode to the hospital with Hickey holding his AR-15 in the back seat “Nice shot George!!!”
...or they can admit they believe that that every agent in that car instantly decided (on the 80 mph trip to the hospital) to participate in the biggest coverup in history of the world and that they would risk everything to protect that extremely accurate klutz Agent George Hickey ...every SS agent must have been absolutely certain that no one had a film or a picture of Hickey firing that gun, right? so I’m sure they all got together in the parking lot at parkland and said “hey guys, since we are positive that no one was filming or photographing in Dealey plaza and heck there were certainly no people around to see anything, lets just pretend that good ol’ George accidentally blowing the presidents brains to mush thing...it never happened”
2. Admit they also believe that Ken O’Donnell and Dave Powers had an AR-15 go off literally inches over their heads, while seated directly in front of Hickey in the middle seat of the follow up car ..they saw it blow their best friends head off ...and they instantly came up with the idea to concoct and participate in the biggest coverup in the history of the world all for a bungling secret service man
3. Admit they believe that everyone within 10-20 feet of the limo at the time of the head shot was legally blind and saw nothing .....the proponents of this theory can’t even find one lunatic that says they saw it happen? not one? ...and there have been people that have claimed to have seen shooters all over the whole damn plaza, but they can’t find one that says they saw Hickey fire that gun at the president? Not in 50 years? come on!!! Gordon Arnold and Ed Hoffman where are you?!?!??

I agree with you. The shooter was Jim (Gomer Pyle) Nabors. That’s as least as believable as the Hickey story.
Do we really know if he is still alive? Sean Penn needs to go see his best buddy and bring back pictures.
