So Is Al Gore"Dreamin' Of A White Thanksgiving"?,Here Comes The 2013 Global Warming Oops!

Posted on 11/23/2013 3:04:34 PM PST by Cruz_West_Paul2016

If there is ever a time for hearing from our "Global Warming Activists/Experts", this is it.We all know of the upcoming forecast for the southwest and east. Snow during Thanksgiving week?,Some areas may even get two feet? What are they going to do in New York next Thursday? Can you imagine a snow filled street during the parade? So where is Al Gore going to be next week? In Palm Beach?,Longboat Key?,Marco Island, along with the "One Percent" he hangs out with while most of America can barely pay their "November Heat Bills" !!

I just wrote an e-mail to my family reminding them (some believe glo-bull warming) that from the day we moved here in 1956, we have always had either ice or snow and COLD WEATHER, from a week before to a week after Thanksgiving.

Now we are in an ice box again and Thanksgiving is five days away.

Cold weather is right on time again.

Around here icefishing usually starts about a week either side of Christmas.

We don’t have snow where I am (Texas), but we’ve got a miserable cold rain falling—and below normal temps for this time of year.

Al Gore replied to my email! I asked him what caused the last ice age to end. That was some potent global warming to melt 3 to 4 miles thick glaciers in the mid-west.

Al says in his email, the global warming which ended ice age was caused by the cave people burning too many twigs to keep their butts from freezing during the ice age.

We hit 84 today, and it was unbearably muggy outside here in west central Florida. Cold air is on the way for Thanksgiving, though. We’re expecting 66 for the big day which means open windows and jeans. We’re all very excited for the cold weather.

This is pretty typical for Florida. My wife calls this the “up-and-down” part of the year. We’ll get a cold spell one weekend, back in the 80s during the week, another cold spell the next weekend... et cetera. It usually takes a month for the temperatures to lower consistently. I just wish the damn humidity would go away.

We live relatively close to the beach. We went out there for dinner last weekend, and it was packed. We saw a LOT of rental cars and out-of-state tags. This has been the most prolific tourist season we’ve seen in a very long time. Great for the economy, but it sucks for commuting.

I’m happy for the Freepers in the South who are experiencing normal 85-degree weather now.

However, the Global Warming prophets like Al Gore have been predicting we would have catastrophically higher temperatures by now. They warned of massive crop losses due to drought by 2013; their global-warming documentaries were like horror movies.

Yet here we are with, at best, normal temperatures in some areas, but for many of us such as me in northern Ohio it’s been freezing, unusually, for more than a month.
