"What was the name of the police officer he called? Police Chief? FBI agent? DOJ agent? He sent a sheepish 'I hope this doesn't hurt the school' email to a superior. He was an enabling creep."

I'd love to see a link to a recount of his. This is really rich.

Joe Paterno never sent or received an e-mail in his life. Not about this, not to a recruit, not to his grandchildren. Late in life (in 2011), he would have his staff set up skype to talk to recruits, but he didn't use e-mail.

Don't let this FACT get in the way of your fantasy though.

Never used email, huh? Your defense of the pedophile enabler is based on a lie.

If someone was murdered in the JoPa the Enabler's office(even directly in front of him), he would have called/emailed his superior - the superior would say the 'humane' thing to do was not turn in the killer. JoPa the Enabler would say 'fine' and go back to his office and plan for the next game. After all, he would just be 'following procedures.'

Just before his firing, Paterno called the Sandusky scandal 'one of the great sorrows of my life.' 'With the benefit of hindsight, I wish I had done more,' Paterno said.

Like call the cops???? NO NO NO, that would be against 'school procedures.'

What he meant was provide more soap.
