I'm not sure students get a real firm foundation in Geography like we did back in the 1950s. It was a one-year very factual subject taught in sixth grade.

Now, geography is polluted with cultural garbage and politically correct stuff.

I have posted several times that the LIVs have no idea which state Canada is in.

Someone posted (here on FR, I think) that he got into a debate with college students who thought New England was a state. When he realized he couldn’t disabuse them of the notion, he asked what the capital was. When they couldn’t answer that, he told them “Obviously, it is New London.”

I've done my own informal survey at both Harvard and Princeton and it isn't true!

Harvard and Princeton are small towns in northern Idaho...

Correct response to the question: It doesn’t matter what the capital of Canada is because 1) it’s a white racist nation, 2) whatever is the capital wouldn’t be the capital if the white man hadn’t wiped out the original inhabitants.

A similar answer would also work for the question, “what is 1 plus 1?”
