If I understand correctly, he was a Columbian citizen who served in the US military, but was never granted citizenship? Did he get an honorable discharge? Did he get in trouble with the law before he could apply?

Not sure what to make of this.

Nothing the MSM loves more than a suicidal veteran, especially a Vietnam Veteran. It just fits all their templates so cleanly.

I am curious, because the story is short on details except what the guy says about himself. I don’t know if is true or false, so I will withhold judgement.

Whether true or false, that is a pretty desperate maneuver on his part.

He joined the Army and was honorably discharged in 1977.
