Lard It's all you really need.

That was what Grandma used for frying the best tasting donuts.

The Costco avacodo oil is good to 500f. It’s not in all their stores though.
I use extra virgin olive oil mostly after I have cooked something to keep all its good qualities.
Grape seed & coconut oil are also in my stores.

Canola oil and soybean oil are bad.
Olive oil and extra virgin, organic, unrefined, coconut oil (I use Spectrum brand) are best. Refined coconut oil is not good, get the unrefined. It costs more but is excellent.

I agree with you that olive oil is a good oil. It has some omega 3s.

We use coconut, olive, grape seed, and rice bran oils. I take fish oil as a supplement.

Not to get technical, unless you need me to, the burn/smoke, temperature of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, although much healthier, is very low, thus evaporation and scorch is highly prevalent..

Which is why God made peanut oil. Makes the best hand-cut homemade French fries!

The “butter” on “buttered” popcorn has been linked to Alzheimer’s.
