My view on guns is simple. I don’t like oysters, to me they are nasty tasting bits of protein, but you are welcome to eat your fill. I’m a fan of Velveeta - to many people, this is the equivalent of “cheese blasphemy”; but I can go to the market and buy as much as I want. I don’t make you eat it, you don’t even have to watch me eat it.
Guns? Personally, love them. Wish I could afford a lot more than I have. Do I care if you don’t want them? Nope. Do you have to buy them? Nope. You don’t have to look at mine, either.
Sure would be nice if those gun haters extended the same level of respect to gun-lovers, as they demand in the pursuit of their passions.
Mmmmm - Velveeta with sausage and Rotel tomatoes makes one of my favorite dips.
Grew up w/guns and got my first BB gun at age of 4 some 57 years ago. Learned to break-down/reassemble a 1911 at age 10 and once I could do it, my Dad let me shoot it. Guns are family/heritage.
