A man was fatally shot and several others were shot this evening on the south and west sides, officials said.
A 30-year-old man was fatally shot at about 8 p.m. on the 6000 block of South Talman in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood, officials said.
The man, described as a white hispanic male, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a spokesman with the Cook County medical examiner's office.

Hundreds of people are shot and killed in Chicago each year and the media is silent. One person os killed at LAX and it is a huge national story. hmmmmm.

Someone got ‘disrespected’, so naturally someone whipped out a pistol and shot someone else.
Maybe Chicago should make disrespect illegal?
I had never seen the phrase "white hispanic" until the Zimmerman case... Is there such a thing as a "black hispanic?" How about a "hispanic eskimo" or a "black asian?" Or an "asian black?" What's the difference?
I LOVE seeing the ministry of propaganda and other leftist institutions twist themselves into pretzels while trying to be politically correct. There was an incident where they were trying to describe a Black man in South Africa. They used the phrase "African American African." Never mind that the man was NOT an American, and had never even been to America! Then there was the naturalized citizen who was white woman from either South Africa or Rhodesia (I don't recall which) where she got into trouble for indicating on her college application that she was an "African American." It was completely accurate.

So what, did this guy have a white mom and costa rican dad? This was a VERY detailed report to say the least. /s
More importantly, why has the media been joining THOSE two particular words lately? Before the z case, I don’t recall EVER hearing them together. Hmmm, again.

So right! I had a co-worker years ago that told me he had checked the “Native American” box on his job application form. He was NOT an American Indian, so at first I was POd that he had done so and was given preference. ......Then, I thought more about it and realized that everyone born in the US is a Native American! ..The PC crowd sucks!
“South and West sides”
One of the less reported stats about the staggering wave of violence and killing in Chicago is that a big majority of them keep taking place in the same areas of Chicago’s west and south sides - Austin, Humboldt Park, Englewood, etc. These areas have generally been impoverished and high crime for a long time now. Of course, there’s too much crime in other areas of Chicago as well. Emmanuel has been a lousy mayor, worse even, than I expected him to be.
